Bellshill Roof Coating

Local Roof Sealing & Protection Specialists Bellshill ML4

Over time your Bellshill roof tiles or roof slates are exposed to a variety of harsh weather conditions including rain, snow, wind, frost, UV damage and more. The effects of weathering and pollution not only spoil the aesthetic appearance of your property but can cause roof tiles to become porous after about 20 years.

This leads to the formation of moss, fungus, lichen and moisture retention, which in turn increases weight and stress on the roof structure. Soiled roofing can also cause a build-up of rainwater, allowing this to penetrate below the overlaps and ruin the watertight qualities of the surface.

Experienced, Reliable Roof Coating in Bellshill

Here at Roof Seal Ltd we have over 20 years of experience in providing expert protective roof coating in Bellshill ML4 and the surrounding areas and we pride ourselves on the quality of our specialist roof coating services.

What is a Roof Coating in Bellshill?

A roof coating is a protective layer applied to the roof which helps prevent leaks and moss and algae growth. Waterproof roof coatings protect against small leaks that aren’t always visible to the naked eye. At Roof Seal Ltd we use an acrylic-based roof coating that is formulated to help fill gaps in your roof and can be applied to both pitched and flat roofs.

Our Bellshill roof coating help seal the gaps between tiles, slates, flashings and gutters. The roof coating adds an extra layer of protection against the elements including rain, snow, ice and UV exposure. It also helps reduce the chance of slates or tiles being moved in high winds.

Roof coating and cleaning not only makes your roof look more visually appealing, but it will also add value to your home and most importantly, it will protect your roof from adverse weather, ageing and invasive moss buildup.

Our roof coating process includes a deep roof clean that removes all debris and contamination from the roof. The roof is then soft washed with an antifungal solution, gutters are cleaned as well as the repair and replacement of roof tiles. Finally, two coats of our roof coating solution are applied for long-life protection.

Step 1:

Roof Moss Removed – Moss is removed from the roof and all gutters are cleaned out and ready for roof sealing.

Step 2:

Soft Wash Roof Clean – Your roof is washed carefully to remove all debris/dirt from the roof and in between tiles and guttering.

Step 3:

Fix & Replace Broken Tiles – We repair and replace any broken tiles on your roof before the coating application process.

Step 4:

Soft Wash Fungicide – We wash the roof again in a fungicide solution to prevent moss and algae growth.

Step 5:

Roof Coating Applied – Finally, we apply our protective roof coating for long-life protection in a colour of your choice.

We offer a premium roof coating service, regardless of the size of the project. Whether you want a small repair or a full Bellshill roof coating, our friendly and approachable team will work around your time and budget.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My bungalow is approaching 15 years old, we back on to a rural area and the roof was covered in moss and algae. I asked roof seal for a recommendation and a quote. Tom inspected my roof and advised a good bio clean and two coats of Acrylic seal will have your roof like new. He was correct. Roof Seal did a great job. I also got them to chemically soft wash my white pebble dash. The difference was incredible. The whole house looks like it was built yesterday. Roof seal were thorough, tidy and patient. Waiting for a weather window to allow the work to be done properly. All in all a very professional job. I am delighted.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Roof seal did a professional job on our large roof which was very badly covered in thick moss. They cleared up very well afterwards and have certainly transformed the appearance of our roof. The only very small negative is that they mention that they repair any broken tiles. They did have to do this for one tile but since they have repaired with mortar rather than replaced the tile it does not look as good as if the tile were replaced. Worth discussing how they will fix any broken tiles up front. Apart from this small point am very happy with work done. I attach photo of house showing perfectly cleaned roof and one tile repaired with mortar.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We requested a quote for cleaning the pebble dash at the front of our house. The quote was delivered within 30 minutes. On acceptance we were told thar the works could proceed the next day due to a cancellation which suited us perfectly. The installers turned up on time and explained how they would proceed with the works. Everything went as discussed and the whole area was cleaned with all materials removed. We would thoroughly recommend Roof Seal Scotland to everyone looking for external roof and building works.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had been meaning to get my roof cleaned of moss for a while. Contacted Tom at Roof Seal, who provided a reasonable quote. The team arrived on the day arranged and proceeded to carry out an excellent job. It's a messy job, but everything was cleaned up at the end of the day. This included a quick hose down of my car as I had failed to move it far enough away! Roof now looks good as new. Would recommend this company.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Speedy response from Tom to initial enquiry, followed by an email confirming work to be done and cost. Estimated time given for the job was accurate, Tom contacted me on 15/02 to advise the team would be at the house between 9.30 - 10.00 on the 16th. They arrived at 9.30 and completed the job within the day. The roof looks almost brand new, we are very happy with all aspects of the service provided.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently hired Roof and Seal team for roofing, gutters, and window cleaning, and I am honestly so pleased with the whole experience. From the very beginning, the communication was clear and professional. Tom was great at confirming everything and keeping me updated, which made the whole process feel organised and worry free.

What really impressed was that they were able to turn up on a very short notice. Even with the tight timing, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. They arrived exactly when they said they would and got straight to work.

The attention to detail was excellent. The roofing and gutter work was done carefully and properly, and nothing felt rushed. You can tell they take pride in their work.

Overall, the team was punctual, professional, and easy to deal with from start to finish. I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and quality service.

Having found Roofseal online I spoke to Tom on the phone to get a quote and was reassured the he could do the job in a day and would be in touch as soon as we had a suitable weather window in our area. Subsequently, he phoned up about a week later to say the he would be up the following day. He and his apprentice arrived promptly in the morning and quickly set about cleaning off the algae and dirt from all the house walls, guttering, down pipes and woodwork restoring the look of the house to what it looked like 21 years ago.We are delighted with the result and recommend his services.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Checkatrade. Clean the moss and other growths off the roof of the house and soft wash the render on the walls.
We had booked Roof Seal to clean and treat our roof. Once they were on site also we agreed to have the walls soft-washed, as that was a job we were going to arrange for later. Both jobs were excellent. A great team that worked very quickly and had the outside of the house transformed by early afternoon. The roof cleaning generated a lot of mess that as all cleared up, leaving everything tidy. The difference the cleaning has made to the tiles of the roof is remarkable, and the pale render of the walls looks a lot cleaner and brighter. We are very glad to have asked Roof Seal to do these jobs.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Checkatrade. Roof clean to get rid of many years of moss, fungi, and dirt.
Thomas at the office advised me of when the men would arrive and spot on. There was many years of moss and dirt on the roof but the amount the 2 tradesmen removed from my roof amazed me! I was very impressed with the way they both men went about cleaning up, gathered up the moss and dirt, hosed all areas on the ground and even the neighbours car in their driveway. Roof looks super and had the roof sprayed to protect against the growth of moss, fungi and lichens.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Checkatrade. Tom came over and deep cleaned the roof on the house and garage removing moss and all white spots
For some reason, my dad-in-law didn't get the roof cleaned when the rest of the estate did a group effort and I have to say that I am glad he didn't. Tom came in at 7:50 and by 15:00, the roof was like new. Added to this, the price was VERY competitive and the results far exceeded our expectations. He was very clear in presenting what options were available to us and we got exactly what we paid for. In this day of Brexit and jobs being expensive and unreliable, I have no hesitation in recommending the company to my family and friends. Well done, Tom.

We would both highly recommend them for anyone looking to get work done.

Tom at Roof Seal provided a professional service that was competitively priced. Easily contactable, he thoroughly explained the process of the work he was going to carry out to make sure I understood the work he was carrying out before I booked their services. The results of the service were brilliant, our Render looks brand new and was beyond what I expected. A prompt professional service providing results beyond expectation, at a competitive...

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Checkatrade. Roof Cleaned, fungicide application and coating applied
Very impressed not only with the quality of the work done but also the communications coming from Tom regarding quote, providing updates and completing the works in the time period originally given, good to see someone who takes pride in his work and left with me with very little cleaning up to do upon the works being completed, would highly recommend this company going forward.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Checkatrade. Roof cleaned and sealed and back wall painted
I had used Roof Seal Scotland 17 years ago at a previous property and I was impressed by their work then. I did not hesitate to contact them when thinking about getting this work done now. Tom and Danny did a really good job. They worked efficiently to finish the work within the timescale. They cleaned and tidied carefully afterwards. I would recommend this company.
